G’day, we are a cluster of nutcases from Hamburg
, Germany . We were wondering if you could help
us track a gone-missing nutcase of ours. If you
own a bar in Dawson , or proudly call The Pit
your local, you have most likely made contact
with the person in question. It’s the one and
only original Uli!
We received a letter from him lately. The news
of his well-being led to exuberant excitement. [Geez,
you must have made some impression on Uli! He
mentioned magnificent Dawson pubs in his
wonderfully humorous account of what appears to
us as colonial Canada .]
Fortunately, with the wonders of modern
technology we are able to contact you! Happy
days! So while the following has made news
around Hamburg within hours, we were wondering
if you could pass on a message to Uli next time
he comes in for “supplies” (well, we know Uli,
don’t we!). Just let him know:
“June 18th is now legitimately called tooth
extraction day! Pat finished it off! Suz has
therefore officially ended the confiscation of
all sets of pliers. All well and in great form @
the Rover, but missin ya loads, from all the
girls”
